Vinification: Maceration for fifteen days. After completing malolactic fermentation, the wine refines throughout the winter in stainless steel tanks.

The name Platea (from the Latin platea, meaning “square”) comes from the location of the winery, situated on a small side street off the town’s main square.
Made from Montepulciano and Cesanese grapes, both hand-harvested, this wine displays a beautiful bright ruby-red color.
On the nose, it reveals violet aromas with hints of wild berries.
On the palate, it is velvety and smooth, with delicate tannins.
It pairs perfectly with cured meats, cheeses, pasta with tomato-based sauces (such as Amatriciana), lamb, and red meats.
Best served at 12–14 °C.
